Co-Founder
Ferhad Kaleli is a mechanical engineer and co-founder of Robsen Robotics. He has worked with industrial robots since 2011 and co-founded the company in 2013, at twenty-four. Today, he leads a team that has commissioned more than 200 robotic cells across machine tending, die casting, surface finishing, assembly, quality control, and machine vision.
His work spans robotics, manufacturing processes, and investment planning. When discussing a new project, he likes to understand how the proposed cell fits into the wider production process, what the customer needs it to deliver, and how those needs might change over time.
Over the years, he has visited hundreds of production plants. Those visits, and the conversations with the people running them, continue to shape his approach to engineering and leading his team. He attends leading robotics conferences around the world, with a practical interest in where new technologies can be useful and how well they hold up in day-to-day production.
Conversations with Ferhad often start with a specific application and turn into a broader discussion about manufacturing, robot technology, and investment decisions. His writing for The Robotic Note draws on these conversations and his experience on the factory floor.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where he is currently pursuing a doctorate.

Project Team Lead
Fatih Yılmaz leads the project team at Robsen Robotics. He joined in 2015 as a
mechanical engineer and has been with the company for more than ten years.
His team is the reason a Robsen quotation can be trusted. Before an order exists,
they assess whether a requested system is genuinely feasible — backing that
judgement with mechanical design, preliminary concept work and simulation — and
they say so when the answer is no.
Once an order is placed, the work becomes theirs: detailed design, manufacturing,
and the FAT and SAT testing a cell has to pass before it ships and again after it
reaches the customer's floor. His team also runs Robsen's after-sales operation —
service, field support and operator training. That means he sees how cells behave
three and five years after commissioning, not only on the day they are signed off.
Over ten years that has covered machine tending, die casting, surface finishing,
assembly, quality control and machine vision, including IROCUBE and IROVISION
systems, across a portfolio of more than 200 commissioned installations.
He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Bartın University and certifications
in Project Management and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I).
Away from work he follows economics and stock market investing closely, and reads
widely on personal development.

Sales and Marketing Specialist
Faruk Kızılcık joined Robsen Robotics on his first day of university, starting as a marketing assistant at nineteen. Now in his seventh year with the company, he works as a sales and marketing specialist, connecting customers with Robsen’s technical teams throughout the sales process.
In his early years, he was hands-on with project photography, video production, and the company website, creating visual content to document and share the team’s work. Today, his focus spans the steps between a manufacturer’s first inquiry and the start of a project - coordinating site visits, process analysis, feasibility studies, concept development, simulations, and quotations.
His legal education at Marmara University informs his work on machinery specifications and contracts. He pays particular attention to making technical requirements and commercial terms clear, accessible, and useful to everyone involved. It is detailed work that helps customers and Robsen’s engineers begin a project with a shared understanding of what will be delivered and how.
Outside work, he kayaks and takes long hikes.

Senior Robotics Software Engineer
Barış Ulusoy is a Senior Robotic Software Engineer at Robsen Robotics. Since joining the company in 2021, he has worked across Robsen’s robotic automation projects, contributing to robotic software development, PLC programming, machine vision applications, camera calibration, system integration and commissioning.
Alongside this broad project experience, Barış has played a particularly important role in some of the most technically demanding systems Robsen has delivered, including complex assembly, packaging and quality-control applications. His methodical approach, attention to detail and precision during development and commissioning have made a significant contribution to the successful delivery of these projects.
Barış is also known for the quality of his technical documentation. He carefully records changes made to robotic cells, revisions completed during commissioning and lessons learned in the field, turning project experience into structured knowledge that the wider team can use. He is equally effective at sharing this knowledge with younger engineers, teammates and customer personnel. During FAT, SAT and operator training, his practical and systematic teaching style helps participants understand both how the system operates and why it behaves as it does.
He graduated from Sakarya University with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2020.

Senior Automation Engineer
Tayyip Kandemir is a Senior Automation Engineer at Robsen Robotics. Since joining the company in 2023, he has contributed to the development and commissioning of numerous robotic automation systems, with particular expertise in PLC programming and machinery safety.
Tayyip plays a central role in establishing the control architecture of Robsen’s robotic cells and ensuring that safety is considered throughout the project—not added only at the final stage. His work covers safety-related system design, risk assessment, safety functions, validation and the technical documentation required to support CE self-declaration. The practices he has introduced and developed have also helped the wider engineering team apply machinery-safety requirements more consistently across Robsen’s systems.
He is equally effective during commissioning, service and customer training. Even when a site presents demanding process requirements, live-production constraints or unexpected technical challenges, Tayyip maintains a calm and methodical working style. Since 2023, he has helped bring numerous systems into production and has consistently completed site assignments with successful commissioning, effective troubleshooting and clear operator training.
Tayyip is also a strong team contributor who openly shares his technical knowledge. His ability to explain PLC logic, safety principles and field experience helps the engineers around him develop their own capabilities and supports a stronger engineering standard across the team.
He graduated from Sivas Cumhuriyet University in 2019 with a degree in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering.

Senior Software Engineer
Yusuf Demirci is a Senior Software Engineer at Robsen Robotics, where he is also responsible for the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. Since joining Robsen in 2018, he has worked in machine vision and contributed to projects requiring vision-based inspection, measurement and process control.
Yusuf has been part of the development of Robsen’s IROVISION software from its earliest stages. He has seen the platform evolve from its initial foundations into the system it is today, while contributing to machine vision projects built around its capabilities. His strong technological awareness and willingness to experiment with new features, software versions and modules help Robsen evaluate and adopt new technologies both in customer projects and within its own engineering team.
His IT expertise has also played an important role in improving Robsen’s remote service capabilities. The systems and infrastructure he has helped establish allow the engineering team to connect with customers more effectively, investigate technical issues remotely and provide reliable support to systems operating at distant production sites.
Yusuf brings a calm and positive approach to teamwork. Even during demanding commissioning periods, when several technical tasks must be resolved simultaneously, he maintains a structured working style and contributes to the team without allowing pressure to disrupt communication. Whether he is commissioning a machine vision application or supporting a challenging project remotely, his composure is one of his most valuable strengths.
He graduated from Istanbul Esenyurt University with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2020.
